Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra’s first web site contained an archive of many of our previous concerts, and this has been incorporated into this new site. There are over 30 pages to browse through, and these have been left in the old web site’s format. Importing the links and arranging the paging structure for these older pages is not yet complete and you may have to use your browser’s ‘back’’ command to navigate through them.
Paul Vaughan, journalist, broadcaster, Wimbledon resident and a playing member of WSO for many years, has written a short history of the orchestra from its earliest antecedents from before the First World War to the present day.
